Sally and Lee met each other at an Investment Bank in London where both of them were working. As Sally recalls, “I always thought Lee was cute and a really nice guy and always wondered if he was single. We'd known each other for about a year when I went on secondment back to Australia for five months where they offered me a job in Sydney. Lee was lucky though, as I decided to return to London and our paths crossed again at work. After bumping into me in a bar, the next day he finally asked me out!”

The proposal was perfectly planned by Lee, who treated Sally to a surprise stay at Jonah's, an exquisite Relais & Châteaux property on the northern beaches outside Sydney. “When we arrived we were staying in the penthouse and Lee had bought a bottle of Champagne with us. Lee proposed in the room before a beautiful dinner in the restaurant and the next day we flew by seaplane to Rose Bay for lunch at a lovely restaurant overlooking Sydney Harbour. Lots of eating and drinking!”

Sally and Lee enjoyed every minute of their wedding day, which was celebrated at Grande Provence. “Everything I had envisaged in my head was in front of me, but even better than I had dreamed. It was just a perfect day with beautiful weather, great food and wine and all the people we loved around us. Having Aleit and Hayley running things smoothly (and rescuing my dad with a spare tie) allowed us to enjoy the day to the full.”

Their favourite moment of the occasion had to be seeing each other for the first time after all the months of planning and the hours spent getting ready! It was also wonderful for the newlyweds to celebrate their union with all their friends and family who had travelled from overseas to sunny South Africa.

The couple really valued the attention to detail that we pay to the planning process. “Aleit and the team listened to what we really wanted and absolutely delivered. The team were always a step ahead of anticipating our needs; on the morning of the wedding we realised we forgot to buy Limoncello, which we wanted to serve at the wedding. When I mentioned it to Hayley she said she'd sorted it all out and had bought some for us. Nothing was ever a problem!”

Sally and Lee started off their luxurious honeymoon at Ebony Lodge, located at the world famous Singita Reserve. This was followed by five nights in Mauritius, as well as a quick shopping day in London before heading to Rio de Janeiro, where they stayed in the famous Copacabana Palace Hotel. To top it off, they flew to Buenos Aires where they enjoyed a polo match, horse riding, shopping and great food and wine.
